i just fully looked at the cover- i think i might cry, it's so cry-worthy. this book is making me feel soft and fragile, i love it and how vulnerable and tentative it kind of is right now. i want to savour it but knowing me i'll just devour it, inside and out.

i am in love with the first chapter.

but it does feel like nostalgia. i've mainly repeatedly watched the show so going back to the book feels so different because the show and book have alot of differences :.)

interesting lore about when i first discovered this series and the 2nd gen series in 2021: i started reading it in the summer after school and would start these books at like 9pm and read them in 1 sitting until 3 am. 😭😭 they were truly my GOAT and it was truly a great summer <3
