I would literally trust Tamsyn Muir to do brain surgery on me, this woman knows exactly what the fuck she is up to at all times.

When this book ends I am going to be wholly inconsolable.

I have so many mixed feelings about this book. :/

"Am I who I am because I killed men? Am I Aeneas because I killed Turnus?" (218).

I am so into this child steampunk book you have no idea.

What's UP with this WACKY, UNDERGROUND city? And why are its citizens disallowed mischief?

People who write books that have anything to do with medieval Scandinavia all read like they were written by and for historical reenactors.
