Read the intro. Nothing too farfetched yet. He references the paper on politeness theory (abt wikipedia and beer website mods) that I read so that's cool i got the reference. But anywho it's cool seeing Jurafsky's personality imbued in the book so far as opposed to the academic writing I usually see in his papers
