It’s a little cringe inducing, some of the social interactions and dynamics. I appreciate that the narrator lives with a condition that makes intimacy difficult, but it feels kind of vapid. Was hoping for a more spooky situation or that the tension/unknown element of transcribing was played out a bit more, but it’s okay so far.
