This book really has me hooked. The author really makes you ask yourself questions like, "What was he thinking?" or, "What the heck?" The nanny is sure that Branwell dropped his baby sister, who is now in a coma. But Branwell can't speak to tell everyone the truth. This made me wonder if Branwell is just traumatized, or if he is hiding the unthinkable truth...

This book started out a little bit slow, and I thought about abandoning it. but one dramatic, action packed scene got me into it. The main character, a girl named Flick, staged an attack on a secret german intelligence base. 10 out of 21 in her platoon are killed, and it was a failed attempt. I wonder why Flick didn't take more precautions going into battle. This made me think about just how awful WWII really was.

Josh keeps dissapointing Molly by making her think that he doesn't want her in his life, but Molly keeps giving him chances. I think Molly really does love Josh, and she desperately wants him to feel the same way. Now, The Evans's are moving to L.A; and Molly is running out of time to get to Josh to really believe he loves her. I think Molly will end up living with Josh even when her guardians move.

I started this book a few days ago and it has me completely hooked. A great blend of two-time periods telling about the same man have kept me intrigued. The story is being told by a 93 year old man. He talks about his crazy experiences he had while traveling in a circus during the great depression. I can't wait to read more.

I was extremely satisfied with the ending of this epic novel. The evil William Hamleigh killed the archbishop, and got away, but bishop phillip made the archbishops severed head a holy miracle, and made a pilgrimage with thousands across all of christendom Europe. William ended up being hanged for his brutal crime, and Jack and Aliena were able to live in peace.

One of the main characters, a boy named Jack, finally got to marry the love of his life, Aliena. A big battle is brewing between the town of Kingsbridge, and sheriff William Hamleigh. I fully expect to see some blood and gore before I turn the last page.

I am nearing the end of the pillars of the earth. So much has happened so far in this epic novel.The suspense of the book is stunning, and there is no doubt that I am an expecting an incredible top notch ending.
