Half the plot issues in this book could be solved if everyone just stopped lying all the time!

Yes I’m reading this again. Yes I read 88% already. Yes I needed something to listen to during a teacher work day. Yes I am enjoying it.

Things are NOT going well on the island!

Rereading one of the very first audiobooks i got into back during covid… nostalgic

Is every single audiobook narrated by Julia Whelan? Don’t get me wrong, I love her, but this is like the third book in a row!

While driving the kids to the park today, the audiobook goes “Chapter 5: Charlotte” and from the back seat I just hear a whispered “yes, finally!”

The daughter is really pissing me off

Would have saved this one for the holiday season had I known it takes place at Christmas! Ah well…

We now continue the summer audiobook series with Evan’s request: the silly school book

Is this the world’s longest book??? I sat on the couch for TWO HOURS playing games on my phone and listening to this so I can make a dent before book club on Tuesday and I swear the bar hardly moved

Reeeeeaaalllllyyy wasn’t sure about this one when I first started it but it might be growing on me a little. Cant stand book where the author thinks you have to add symbolism into every sentence to be a good writer. In fact, the opposite is true!!

Not sure if this is gonna be a whole series reread or not…

I am eating this up! Love rereading a book because I KNOW I'm gonna have a good time.
