Very engrossing so far. The author has done an excellent job of tackling some of the 19th and 20th century historical revisionism that has cemented itself in modern pagan/goddess traditions and archetypal psychology.

I am going to finish this book because it’s a fairly quick paced easy read, but I would not recommend it anyone. The scholarship is probably sound, but the condescending atheist snark every few sentences is so obnoxious.
