2021 for me was the year of Ellis Peters’ Chronicles of Caedfael. Great historical fiction, mostly true to my faith, (and history!), exciting and affirming. True story: the Middle Ages were not dark! Plow though #21 of the legendary 20 book series “The Chronicles of Cadfael,” or take a break with something else for a couple of weeks? I can still finish the whole series in a year!
