Super interesting world but hard to listen too for long period of time due to boredom.
It reminds me of the Oscar’s winning movie, Flow (2024). Vast mysterious world with the always looming threat of water

Poor chaol let his fragile male ego get hurt. I was getting triggered for Aelin. Talking to men is exhausting, only hearing what they want and the second their manhood is questioned, fight. SJM actually portrays the human male so well in chaol lol.

And SJM did switch to calling her Aelin 🙏

I’ve been half listening half reading this series… bought this audiobook thinking nothing of it but my ears were just subjected to the worst audio quality 😭 idk why the quality dropped so low mid way into the series

For a bigger impact SJM should have dead named Celaena. Aelin only from that moment forth.

Finally broke down and decided to just buy the audiobooks.. I have so much more time to kill driving every day. I will finish this series before 2026 !!

Omg this book is annoying. I hate Megan’s therapist. I hope he ends up being guilty of something bc I don’t like that man.
