The pacing is very different to Final Empire but still an enjoyable read. The main protagonist is really coming into her own however I'm not a fan of the romance. It feels forced. The action is as dope as the previous book.

Yeah...this is one hell of a page turner, with a few surprising twists. Sanderson lays on the exposition a little too thick but I'll forgive it because of how incredible the world building has been in this book.

A fun and kinetic read so far. Sanderson knows how to write action, damn! I'm also really enjoying the magic in this book. The exposition is a bit heavy but I'm okay with it for now.

I'm loving it so far. Kelsier is an interesting and engaging protagonist, and the world building is being introduced gradually, allowing me to comfortably immerse myself within the story; seeing as I'm not a fan of fantasy literature, I really appreciate the steady pace and controlled release of information.
