I think the title and the synopsis is misleading, I think the bookshop has appeared in one page so far? I've been reading this since August 2024, so clearly something isn't clicking, but I also can't seem to give up on it. I don't know if it's the book or just the type of person I am. I'm hoping now that the backstory of the characters have been set up, we actually get some bookshop in the book.

One of the main characters is an escapee of domestic violence, and the husband tracks her down (via a friend spying) and assaults her in her new space. It's somewhat detailed, with the inner monologue of the character being accurate I suspect, but hard to read.

Henry is an adulterer. I very much dislike this.
Op is the only character I like or find interesting.

The writing style of this book is cozy and easy to read, but so far the book is very depressing. I hope it become a bit less so the more we continue

OK so chapter one was weird.
she's apperenly had a picture of the gut she meets on her phone that she's been staring at and obsessing over for years (?) He has no idea she exists. Kinda weird and creepy. Rosie, chapter one made me not like you.

..and incorrect powers. Paige and Phoebe can now throw energy balls? I can hand wave away Paige doing it by saying she called for one, but a major story line of Phoebe is that she doesn't have an offensive active power.

I'm aware that these books aren't meant to be amazing works of fiction however so far this one has been bad.
I've enjoyed the Charmed paper backs I have read before, however this one is just bad. I have no idea how this got through to publications based on the mistakes that were made in the first three chapters.
Cole's last name is incorrect which isnt a big deal. But all of a sudden the sisters have new ...

So far this book is very amusing.
From page 1 it is very clear this is satire of all the common tropes. Very amused
