Book gave me an existential crisis halfway through, then I was totally enamored by it in the second half. Black tells tales of humanity, resilience and hope through her unique encounters with death. An essential read 🫠 beautiful writing too which I didn’t expect from someone who is renowned in her field of forensic anthropology?!
