God, spare me from authors who think the way to write about Douglas Adams, no matter how jarring it might be in the context of the rest of the books, is to regurgitate all the jokes of his they can think of that might possibly be applicable.
Especially when they do so with no concern for how self-deprecating the jokes were in the first place, so end up sounding as if they think he's a bit rubbish, actually.
