Its better to progress slowly rather to not progress at all.
I will start using this technique in my daily life. Hopefully starting from now.

Its a wonderful book. Mind Sculpture allows you to imagine yourself and feel the experience of doing something which you'd not do or find uncomfortable doing it. Ask Small questions is also a wonderful technique to perform the tasks which you've been delaying. For example, if you want to lose weight but don't have the time, ask yourself daily "what one small step should I take to exercise daily".

in 1599 the EIC is founded by Thomas Smythe. Earlier he formed "Levant Company which traded spices but was in loss. They successfully landed in Indonesia and imported spices but the profit was not as good as the Dutch. Later EIC and Dutch developed a rivalry which resulted the Dutch bombarding the cities of Britain by coming in as fas as Thames river. EIC decided to leave spice island to Dutch and concntrd on India

The British retreated and Afghanistan is left in tatters which is to be ruled by Dost Mohammed. The new territories Dost annexed after resuming the throne of Afghanistan's ruler, is described as the modern boundaries of Afghanistan today.Similar parallels have been drawn now when the Russians tried to occupy Afghanistan in the 1980's and America in the 2000's. Both of whom left Afghanistan without gaining much.

The British finally arrive in India poorer and with broken spirits. Dost Mohammed is sent back to Afghanistan to rule its barren wastelands.
As per many British officials and Generals, this was a useless war which emptied the Indian treasuries of the British and tarnished their name. The only person who gained from this war was the same person for whom the war was fought against, Dost Mohammed.

Mohanlal Kashmiri is captured and tortured by Akbar Khan and forced to pay 30K which his friend Shahmat Ali helps in raising the money.

While retreating, many Britishers and hindustani sepoys die due to hunger, cold and plunder. Out of 12000, only 80 survivors reach Jagdalak.

Afghans have revolted against the British and the latter's administrators are still confused and indecisive about the plan of action.

Dost Mohammed escapes from Bukhara. Later, he surrenders to the British fearing that the reward on him of 2 lakh Rupees would be claimed by his believers only. Shah Shuja requested the British to hand over Dost Mohammed to him so that he can blind him but the British refused.Dost Mohammed was later exiled to Ludhiana along with his relatives. Akbar Khan, his son would later prove to be a center of resistance.

Conflictions between the British and the Afghans have raised due to the fact that the British started interfering in the politics and culture of the Afghans.

The conflicts also arose because the British reduced the sanctions to the Afghan Chieftains which made them furious and angry.

Afghans now knew that Shah Shuja is merely a puppet of the British, the actual power is been held by the British.

Dost Mohammed is thrown into the dungeon by Amir of Bukhara Nasrullah.

Meanwhile, Kabul is turned into a prostitution hub as the English took advantage of Afghan women which in turn infuriated the Afghan people's honor.

The Army of the Indus invades Afghanistan.
Shah Shuja is placed on the throne in Kabul.
Ivan Vitkevitch dies suspiciously in Russia, many claiming that British Intelligence had a hand in his death.

The British Indian Army finally sets off from India towards Afghanistan to replace the Afghan Leader Dost Mohammed with Shah Shuja. It was to be the most ill advised and unstrategic invasions in modern history. One leader Mehrab Khan of Qalat informed Alexander Burnes that "You have brought an army into Afghanistan but how do you plan to get it out".

The great game has begun.Lord Auckland initiated a war with the Barakzai leader Dost Mohammed Khan to replace him with Shah Shuja.Despite innumerable facts and information which were passed to Lord Auckland by Alexander Burnes (Spy in Afghanistan) to deal with Dost Mohammed directly instead of waging war against him, the governor-general Lord Auckland disregarded this report by Burnes..
