So now we're probably going to witness Prophet being tortured beyond what he can mentally stand. Not physically, of course, because he's some sort of invincible super human that doesn't feel real pain and had a feral, animalistic side. There are so many fucking holes in this story it's starting to look like Swiss cheese.

So now what could have been a very mundane death has been turned into some sort of military conspiracy? Where the fuck are the people of the EE and why do they not know that they're operatives are about to be killed? The EE sounds irresponsible and pretty fucking shady. I have no idea what's going on and I don't like it.

So I skipped, and I feel bad. But I'm also glad I did it. Because in that length of time nothing seems to have developed further between them and the climax seems to just now be starting. Maybe I'll finish it from here on out.

Weirder and weirder. Not sure how all this is gonna tie in. I find that I don't enjoy the OTP as much as I thought. They're way too confusing.

I think this is the part of the book where I start to feel restless. When will it be over? Then again, this is Andrea Speed and she LOVES to write. I don't think I've encountered many authors that leave whole pages to explanations, thoughts and descriptions without any dialogue at all.

This installment wouldn't have been complete without a few depressing episodes throughout. The entire series is pretty much a sob story that masochists like myself just can't out down.
