Had promise somewhat....the characters lacked personality to me. Nothing was specially interesting about them and they kept bringing up how Lester (weird name) was a bastard. Might go back to it after finishing the first book in series.

Plus all the back and forth with Sam? I'm really ready for them to either be together or not. It's Been three books now and I'm getting worn out.

Steal dealing with Jory having every gay man in the city ask him out and Jory either turning them down or going on the date and having it be horrible. One of the biggest flaws in this story is that while Jory does haves his moments, he doesn't have any real flaws. He's perfect and everyone wants him and it's ANNOYING.

Okay, so I have actually read this before. I didn't remember most of it but now I do. Still kind of a slow read. Sam is a prick but I enjoy his character. Gonna move on to the next book and see what I think.

Done and done. I don't even think these books were novellas yet here I am finishing them in one day. Interesting. Loved the way things turned out in these. Will be reading more from Avril Ashton.

Was actually hoping for Dex to be the one gravely injured....maybe I'll get my dream in the next book. I'm still pretty unimpressed with the series as a whole though.
