It's been a hot minute since I've been in physical and emotional pain while reading, so props to Alix E. Harrow on this one.

My book club is reading this for the month of July and I simply cannot fathom how I am going to finish it. Absolutely terrible so far.

Absolutely LOVING this. The deep ocean was my obsession throughout my childhood.

I’m so sorry, but this cannot POSSIBLY be the same book that half of Instagram is raving about. There is absolutely no way. The prose is bland and the characters have no depth. I don’t think there’s even the inkling of a plot at this point. I might DNF

Um! As an Eagle County resident I absolutely did a double take when I read the words “Eagle County” with my own two eyes. I thought surely, not the same tiny county I reside in…but, it is!!! Nate mentions ski resorts and everything. People know Vail, but very few know the name of the greater County so I am shooketh

We're gonna give this a second try since I enjoyed the Dance of Thieves duology so much! I love her prose, I just need to be in the right mood. So here goes nothing!
