Okay the horses are being mistreated with ginger root abuse and I’m already outraged.

The language is a bit too crude, however, most likely realistic for the time period.

Chapter one was steampunk future and chapter two is sickening alien horror. Alright, here we go.

Yeeeeaaaah, the world building is already amazing in this book.

I guess slow but steady is how this book is going to be for me. It’s good, but gosh darn it is google is carrying me right now.

I’ve looked up like 50+ words and phrases in chapter 1 alone.

A professor assigned this short story collection for class, some of the stories for homework. I’m feeling half intrigued and have meh about this book. I’m not sure if I want to finish it or not, even though it’s not a requirement.

One of my professors pulled me aside today and told me that I make her uncomfortable. I previously suspected she always seemed nervous around me. I told myself I’m paranoid. My suspicions were confirmed however when she gave me the “good person” check box talk. “Well you seem caring, and a good student,” then admitted she had biases. She talks negatively on religion and politics a lot in class. 😣
