It seems that the author has spun together a book by tieing synonyms of, and metaphors for, creativity with personal experience and brief biographical insights.
As another review stated, a seemingly simple narrative arc has unnecessarily been draw out over seven chapters.
That said, the author's premise of creativity being "the Spark and the Grind" stands.
