Putting this on the shelf for a while because no books has discouraged me from reading more than this one. I don’t understand how this is so well-reviewed on here! It’s been almost 300 pages and I just don’t like the characters or the story or the writing style.
Will try to come back later this year and see if it improves in the second half.
