I'm on chapter 25 and I'm loving this book. It's different and the characters behavior is unexpected. Fantastic writing! And at points I chuckle out loud!

I have read a lot of Nora Roberts books, and I have to say this book is off to a very nice start. I didn't read this book right away, because I was getting a bit tired of the classic Nora Roberts style, but delightfully this story has a different feel and approach! I'm enjoying it very much and look forward to reading more!

update continued; a slightly climatic scene was instantly disassembled by letting Risa leave the thug she has disabled to be interrogated by her uncle! what!? I really hope this book starts including some story substance.

Chapter 5... this book feels like a series of tangents wrapped around a story!! I'm having a really hard time staying interested, and wondering where all the great reviews are coming from.

An interesting start to a potentially very unique world. I'm reading chapter 3 and though the story is jumping along I do have a distinctly pressured feeling. Every character Risa meets gets a character description including marital status, personality characteristics and spouse and children and their personality quirks. It has become too many names to keep track of.

Part way through this book I got bored. Its not that the writing and the story wasn't good the whole way through. But the books starts with a rush potential world destruction, and then insert a few chapters of court proceedings, yuck! But I pushed through and the story wasn't too long getting back to demons and fighting action.

Overall a very good finale to an amazing series. Kelley Armstrong is very talented.

A fantastic start to this book! It jumped into the stpryline so quickly I was swept right up! If you enjoy the magic element it is thickly threaded through this story and within the first chapter I was left grinning. Very excited for whatevers to come. Please ignore the page number as I guessed
