His chapter on preparing sermons if one of his best

The latter half of this last chapter (on study) was a real mixed bag. Specifically the way Stott invites various study groups to tackle a particular cultural issues in order to discern what it looks like to contextualize to the world around us really opens the door to the kind of 3rd wayisms that have been so unfaithful in recent days. No wonder Justin Taylor’s blog was called ‘between two worlds’

Lots of wisdom in this one

Stott makes a major blunder in chapter 3 and says that elder teams should include women. Otherwise a decent chapter.
