It is another build up, but I have just finished the infamous blueberry pie scene and I feel like the story sucked me in a little bit before that. It takes a while, only because you need to relate to the characters individually to get involved with this story. I'm really glad I waited for the summer to read this, even though it is, Fall from Innocence.

I guess I expected a horror story when I was recommended this read. It is slow going, as most of King's work, but I just am not into this story so much. I'm hoping it picks up soon.

Very intense. Hard to put down.

Alright, I get it. I really had forgotten how dry the writing is and some parts are eerily familiar in our current political climate.
