Halfway done with this beast of a book… and the punches just keep coming. So many amazing scenes already and strong action scenes. The quality is another step up for the series.

End of Book One which is also the end of the Sixth of the Dusk flashbacks. I love his choice of doing that with alternating chapters of new stuff set in the future. Now everything is 100% new from here on out and I’m beyond excited to get to it. And now the pages turned black with white ink which couldn’t look any cooler!

Love the start…. Dancer’s exasperation with Kellenved is hysterical. Speaking of Kellenved, anyone else get big Iskaral Pust vibes from the young him? Maybe Pust is his son or grandson haha

I purposely keep myself in the dark on new project details so everything is fresh so I didn’t realize Sixth of the Dusk was integrated into this book. I’m ok with that, actually, as I needed to reread it anyways. It’s one of my favorite m novellas so I’m even more excited about this!

Wow… I guess it did happen… one heckuva premise for this one and I look forward to seeing where this goes. Already had one moment that made me audibly gasp. Oh, and I liked the novella Aftermath quite a bit too.
