I am a little more than halfway through this book. I found it at a local coffee house in a box full of giveaway books. The author shows that this is not a black-and-white issue but there is a lot of grey matter. Women are planning marriage should read this book and be realistic when it comes to human desires. The "other women" also need to read it and know their situations are not special but very common.

I am enjoying the book. Ms., Lahiri does well with showing the characters trying to maintain cultural identity in the USA.
