After researching among my very cast iron friendly friends, no one would throw out - or bury - a cast iron pot because two pet dogs licked it clean. Just boil some water in it and move on. As one friend said, someone will find it and dig it up, clean it up and use it for 20 more years.

This is not good. It's like when your mom tries to be "hip" and uses modern slang way too much and not really in right way. It's painful to listen to.
