After somehow slow Altered Carbon, this one is real refreshment, action packed all the way (for the time being at least). Being addicted to the Walking Dead series its more then welcome to check out the story behind Governor.

Well, I was wrong but still I prefer twists now and then and in this one everything seems to be preps for the big one at the end?

Is it just me or this book is really, really slow, so to speak. I'm at 40% and nothing happened but one clue in certain investigation and involvement in someones, appeared to be, business that doesn't effect the main story. I might be wrong of course but I really hope something will happen soon...

Somehow I can't remember those two previously books from Chronicles I've read being this good. Certainly I read them long time ago so maybe that's why but Lestat is great and writing is absolutely fantastic.
