On the profile of Black Flag: 'Why didn't they decide to stop violence at their shows? "What right do we have to tell people how to act?" "Through interviews [..] maybe we can let people know what we stand for, that we're against beating people up".' Maybe Rollin's didn't agree, but the rest of the band did. For me it perfectly sums up their anarchistic and DIY tendencies, both within their band and toward the scene.
