So far it's great! Well drawn characters and well drawn setting, great plot. Horrendously depressing vision of the future tho.

I thought reading "Game of Thrones" was a slog. This is incredibly descriptive and incredibly dense.

So far it's pretty terrible. Billy Lynn, a heroic US army soldier from the Iraq war, reflects on civilian life vs army and the recent PR tour his squad finished.

I'm roughly 2/3 through and I'm not sure I'm ever going to finish it.

I can see where this is going. Still entertaining...so far.

Generally good but James Bond this ain't. It's more of a who's who of wartime Washington, along with an overview of Roald Dahl's wartime experience. Its a bit of a slog at first, but it gets interesting with time. It's definitely the other side of the war we all know from history and Hollywood, this side is just more subterfuge and allies spying on allies than violence. 3/5.
