Jodi McIsaac's imagination is astounding and boundless. It gives me a five star experience. Then she goes back to talking about "divination using cat intestines", which ruined a star in the first novel. Spelling "colour" without U is unCanadian. The big problem is nonstop danger. The toddler or relatives are always kidnapped or hiding. A quest for a stone is GREAT by itself! Villains always chasing them sucks.

Damm authors, "backwards" has an "S"!!!! Do not do cringing things in the first five pages!!!! Also, Canadians appreciate from our authors the nice change and guarantee that "COLOUR" will be spelled with a "U" and whatnot!

I am liking Elvis the less I read, even though the recent film told me the pressure he was under, of his awful manager blackmailing him to keep him hired. Priscilla's occasional attempts to balance his selfishness with "he was very compassionate and generous" are not justifying anything for me. However, I am a 50 year-old and she was 18 years-old. I hope the happiness and respect improve. The tragedy was a shame.

Home safety is important. We live in a forest. After human & animal life: we value mementoes. My parents are recently in Heaven. Their belongings comfort me.

Familiar personal history but told more profoundly and clearly from a family perspective. This was Mom's book in 1985 and I grew up around this and other books I was not interested in reading yet. I am glad she & I saved them, knowing I might be interested decades later. Mom & I are both compassionate ladies and ours was an Elvis music listening household. I also have two of Lisa Marie's albums: talented people!

Less enjoyable as we go along. Human beings: stop thinking drunkenness or getting high is fun ever. I enjoy drinking for the TASTE. I am always ashamed at anyone who deliberately wants to be drunk and am tired of reading about it. Grow the fuck up.

I am sailing this ship into the harbour. Three stars for something terrible and needless, several animal deaths, calling cats inferior, and for the rest of this story's plots going entirely as I predicted they would. Geeze Maud, must everyone beloved die? You didn't give Dora one line in the whole novel but dished out negatives. I am giving three stars because prior to the bad circumstance, I had loved this book.

Three stars are the best this volume is going to do, if Maud Montomgery doesn't ruin anything else. What a pity, after loving it highly for chapters and chapters of the beautiful first half of it.
