Brandon Sanderson can freaking write! He writes stories that make you speed read just so you can see what happens next. He makes you power through a 700 page book with such fervor because you just cannot put it down.

I’ve just finished reading one of the best battles that had me practically bouncing up and down, and left me with such euphoria that I just want to get back to reading more.

This is an enjoyable read. I can't say that I understand everything, but that could just be a consequence of my listening to the audio book while running after two small children.

Nearly 3 hours in and this book has annoyed me since the first chapter. The viewpoint seems too narrow and the studies are given too superficially that I suspect much of the big picture is left out of this book. Pity because some points do seem quite interesting.

Why am I enjoying this so much?

I’m loving it so far. (Vin, please don’t go down that route)

Epic fantasies usually intimidate me. I get bogged down halfway through. But so far I’m really enjoying this story.
