Damn, she's good. A bit difficult to keep track of all the intermingling characters. Part of the concept,though. No doubt it will crystallize elegantly. dat prose and irony.

ok, i'm actually a bit intrigued now. what this guy comes up with. that people are reading paulo coelho.

though if this was the first mieville book i read, the impression/perception probably would've been quite different. now i'm more used to his quirkiness. what's the optimum mindset for reading. does it even matter what we read. sometimes.

lighthearted weird imaginative anti-trivial fun. (i think anti-trivial is the philosophy). unlike perdido street station and the scar there's nothing .."big" about this, imo. so far it's an entertaining three stars.

only one delirious nightmare left :(((

dull. elegant, eloquent and dull. a shadow of city of sains and madmen. Is it allowed to be dissapointed? Still; Jeff's an awesome writer. This one just seems a bit uninspired. Looking forward to Finch! I do kinda enjoy reading Shriek, though. Never know what comes next. Surreal and occasionally tense and funny.
