I am thoroughly enjoying this book.

The book took some time to get used to the style (steam of conscienceless paragraphs with no punctuation) but now I'm enjoying it. But the holidays and commitments on other books for my bookclub have caused me to put it down temporarily. But I'll be back!

Chilling and prescient concept. Written in 1935 but could certainly apply today.

Intriguing story, but constant shifting of timeframe is confusing and a bit annoying. Very descriptive writing style...at times TOO descriptive. The daily life described seems to be anachronistic. A bit too "modern" in language and events. Having said that, I am enjoying the book.

Terrific! I was curious how the author could stretch a simple concept into 300+ pages. Nick Hornby nails it.

I just read the preview, but absolutely LOVED it! I plan to buy this collection, but need to get thru a number of my book club selections first.

Good. Sometimes amateurish writing but the plot twists work.

It truly hasn't grabbed me yet. The characters are well-drawn (and a bit outrageous...but I like that in a character). Its hard for me to identify with any of the situations, but that will likely come. I'm concurrently reading with In Satin's Shadow.

Wow. So last century (LOL). The British slang and the anachronistic writing are a chore. And so far the plot is a bit too dramatic. and its hard to like any of the characters. I've put it aside for now, but may come back. Or not.

Pretty good WW2 Nazi stuff so far. A bit amateur in its writing, tho the plot seems plausible (so far). I'm enjoying it.
