Issue 2 was fun, not as good as 1 but I still enjoyed it

The Latest of Charles Soules Shrouded College Tale. I intentionally put off reading this one till the final issue came out. Which is today. So now its time to catch up

End of an era.

Some of the most recent comics of the last couple of years. Star Wars by Charles Soule is comics to an end, and so is the High Republic. I've loved this latest era, and I can't wait to see what's next.

Phase 2 of the Charles Soule Star Wars run plus Han & Chewie which surprisingly ties in. And a hotel attraction comic tie in that did nothing for me.

Star Wars 2020 to War of the Bounty Hunters + The High Republic Phase 1

Star Wars 2020 # 1, 5, 15, War of the Bounty Hunters 1, High Republic 2021 # 1, 6, Trail of Shadows 1, Eye of the Storm 1, Life Day 1.

2020 was the start of several stories we are building towards the end of as we speak. 50 issues later, Charles Soules run is coming to an end, and we are closing in on the end of THR Phase 3.

A mixed bag of mini series and the main series spans through to ESB ending the first "era" of canon Star Wars comics before things start fresh in 2020.

Star Wars 15, 18, 21. Poe Dameron 1, Han Solo 2, The Force Awakens 2.

2016 was when I started catching up on Star Wars Canon Comics. And at the time I loved what i read.

I don't know if it's just the comics aging or I've just read them too many times to enjoy them as much, but I was a bit bored reading these this time.

Plus I love Charles Soule but Poe is his weakest series IMHO.

Star Wars 1, Darth Vader 1, 3, Princess Leia 1, Lando 1, Shattered Empire 1, Kanan 8 & Vader Down.

So many excellent new characters introduced into canon in 2015. Doctor Aphra, Kanan, Kes Dameron and Shara Bey to name a few.

I didn't catch up with these comics till the year later, but I wish I had been there from the start 2015 was a great year for SW comics.

The end of Legends.

Republic 68, obsession 2, General Grevous 1, Star Wars (2013) 1, 9.

Kinda wish there was a few more legends issues in this collection like The old republic or Legacy as they are some of the best Dark Horse Era Star Wars Comics.

The last 5 we got here are not my favourites. But hey ho, onto the Canon collection we go.

The start of the incredible Ostrander/Duursema run. I own the Quinlan Vos omni, so I'm pausing here to reread that book in its entirety cause I love it so much.

Cards 6-10 Empire Strikes Back to The Last Jedi. Star wars 1977 #24, 31, 39, 49-50.

Enjoyed seeing the vast improvement of the art style especially in the ESB adaptation which I really enjoyed.

Been itching for some high republic books for a while.

Figured I'd reread some, focusing on Vernestra Rwoh before her first Live action appearance in The Acolyte.

Using this page in place of the new 2024 edition of this collection. Reading every issue that is collected in postcard form in a History of Star Wars comics reread.

So far, read Star Wars (1977) #1-3, 7-8 & 14. The first half of A New Hope, Jaxxon, and more post movie 70s shenanigans. It's always fun to see the early days of Star Wars EU.

OK, I need to put this book down so I can get ready for work. I'm hooked.
I started the Album while reading the comic, trying to listen to the tracks with their corresponding chapters.
This might be one of the coolest things I've ever read. I'm loving this so far.

I've been excited about this since it was announced. Bear Mcreary doing a comic and concept album?!?! And then I read the sample and I'm in!!!! Hooked on this story already.

Been waiting to listen to the album, heavy metal isn't my cup of tea, but it's Bear Mcreary so I need to give it a try. Regardless I'm in for this comic so far.

I don't know how I feel about this series yet. I enjoyed the first volume more than the second. This volume is a whopping 9 issues that I'm dubious if I'll get into. But I want to try and power through it to move on to the next series

I was initially excited for this series, Sandman Universe #1 set it up really well, and issue 1 of the series got me hooked at first.

Now I'm half way through volume 1 and I can't help but feel bogged down by it. I'm really trying to enjoy the story it's telling, but my heavens is it wordy. It's so wordy! Which makes my ADD brain just lose the trail every couple pages. Trying to keep going but we'll see how it goes.
