The scrapbook chapter dragged a bit at first, but it got really good really quickly. It’s answered some of my earlier questions- what was the bloodstain Danny saw on the wall in the presidential suite- and created an abundance of new ones- who the heck made that scrapbook?
Thus far, this is miles better than the movie, but that could change. I’ll have to wait and see.

The wasps nest was really creepy, ngl. I am really enjoying this, it could be a new fave!

The atmosphere’s getting a little sinister, and while nothing really terrifying has happened yet, I’ve had a constant feeling of unease since Halloran told Danny about the Shining and the Overlook’s “ghosts”.

Some really nice family moments as the Torrance’s arrive at the Overlook Hotel. I’m really sad that it’s all going to go to pot, I’ll just have to enjoy the good times while they last.
