So far the book has been so heart warming and pleasing. The characters are super relatable and the way that they go through their own struggles to then overcoming them help me reflect on my own and give me motivation. :D

Livro como abraço. Tem sido uma tendência exportada do Japão esse tema comum da livraria, diferentes vidas,leituras leves,sem conflito. Considerando a cultura de trabalho no Japão, esse trabalho me parece extremamente importante e arriscado. Dito isso, não é uma literatura (e talvez pela tradução) muito boa,os diálogos internos não são muito bem construídos. Visão positiva e reconfortante, que precisamos

The ending made up for the two sections that annoyed me. Barely. I did like the continuity and the narrator’s natural accents. 3 stars I’m thinking, but we will see how the math pans out. Review to come. 8/6/24

Creo que estas novelas japonesas y coreanas me están gustando mucho porque tienen situaciones (y deseos) con los que me identifico en este momento de la vida...

I love everything about this novel. It inspires so much in so many ways. I kept looking up books and food that were referenced and felt with each vignette that I have so much to look forward to in life—as member of society.

The character in this chapter I wasnt super fond of but he came to truths that were helpful even tho he really is an imperfect being

Bei der Moral am Ende gehe ich mit.
Aber die Aussage, dass Mütter selbst schuld an ihrer Lage sind, wenn sie ihre Nöte nicht einwandfrei kommunizieren finde ich fragwürdig.
Damit wird dem Vater jegliche Verantwortung abgenommen. Anstatt dass er seiner Frau mal Aufmerksam zuhört und von selbst handelt

So many great books have a slow start, but this is not one of them. There is something so compelling about each of the main characters that makes you root for them and wish you could help them along the way. It’s inspiring me to visit the library more to see what magic I find there!
