Okay I slagged this one off in book club I admit, but when read one at a time these stories are actually quite sweet

Very cozy and cutesy so far!

Like Natsumi, I may have to buy this book. Just finished that chapter featuring the character Natsumi. So far, these have been like modern day fairy tales. Happy stuff.

This book makes me want to visit Sayuri’s library- each of the characters are so different but also very relatable. Maybe those books suggested to them were just randomly chosen or maybe the librarian had really a strong sense of intuition. What is true is that each of us will find the messages we need to receive in the books we read. Once again, the right book at the right time.

Whenever people interact, that is being part of society. And the things that happen as a result of those points of contact exist in the past and the future.

Our order arrives. Chie is having tempura soba while I have a bowl of udon noodles with seasoned deep-fried tofu.

Thoroughly upbeat, encouraging read. What a nice change of pace.

Wenn man das Café am Rande der Welt liebt wird man dieses Buch auch lieben. Keine der Erkenntnisse ist neu und nicht besonders bahnbrechend.

This book is such a delight!

You need to be careful when reading biographies and history.
There are always numerous interpretations, and heresay, about who said or did what. Misunderstandings occur even in real time; you can see that on the internet. So, when it comes to events deep in the past, it's very difficult to be sure of what is accurate.

The bunch I hung out with as a kid taught me a lot. They weren't always human or from Earth, and they came from anywhere in time, ranging from the prehistoric past to the distant future, sometimes even other dimensions.
That's how I met my childhood friends, in all the manga I read.

I saw that concentrating on poking a needle into a ball of wool is hypnotic. When I tried it for myself, I found that any feelings of agitation or disquiet would gradually calm down and settle.

i’ve cried 2 and i’m not even 50%. I can already tell I will reread this book again and again. whenever you need to feel grateful. such quick but meaningful stories.❤️
