There is something very happy/optimistic/hopeful about this book that makes me so uncomfortable. It's not hopeful in an idealistic unrealistic way, it's healthy, but it just makes me so uncomfortable.

This book is starting so beautifully..The character we follow for the first chapter Tomoka feels like a real person you’d meet working at a clothing store, her thought process is incredibly realistic to that of the working person her age, and her interactions with those she meets all work together to push her in the direction of growth and happiness. I love the symbolism and vivid imagery used as well..Good stuff!

A book where Microsoft Excel is a large plot point (at least in the first 10% of the book)? Count me in!!!!
