oohh i thought this would be a slight fantasy book, but ive just finished chapter one & realised its not!! its regular people finding joy & meaning through regular library books. really enjoyed the first chapter!!

i enjoyed the first few stories but now its getting a little too repetitive... im very close to being done so i am going to finish this book but i am disappointed that it is not living up to the hype i heard about it

the person who narrated the 4th story about the illustrator is probably my least favorite audiobook narrator i have heard so far. hes so monotonous most of the time and the voices he does for women are awful

Why tf is everyone in this scared of the librarian because she's a plus sized person.... ew

this book is heartwarming but there isn't much variety to the stories so far aside from it being a different character in each.

I think this book is going to stay with me for a long, long time. It has been a while since i felt the need to reach for the printed version of a book after reading the ebook version, but this book did just that.

Being born is probably the most difficult thing we ever have to do. I am convinced that everything else that comes afterwards is nowhere near as hard. If you can survive the ordeal of being born, you can get through anything.

Try not to think of upset plans or schedules as personal failure or bad luck. If you can do that, then you can change, in your own self and in your life overall.

Life is one revelation after another. Things don't always go to plan, no matter what your circumstances. But the flip side is all the unexpected, wonderful things that you could never have imagined happening. Ultimately it's all for the best that many things don't turn out the way we hoped.
