the second story was somewhat relatable bcs the mc is an accountant at a furniture shop. his desire to open an antiques store, something that he has loved since childhood is again very close to me :( i really want to open a bookshop/ cat cafe AHH pls pray for meee

I think it's an interesting premise but I think I need to put it on hold for now to listen to stuff I'm looking forward to more. Nothing against the book I just have a ton more right now I wanna prioritize

Ch3 was long but also heartwarming. I'm guessing all of these characters are going to have happy endings, which is not bad.

The pace is still not for me, there are so many details.

I don't ever want to be a mother so this one did not resonate with me. But it's still interesting to get the perspective of a working mom. Honestly reminded me of Nightbitch

I like chapter two! The concept of a parallel career is not new to me, so I can relate very much with the anxiety of "chasing a dream" and the financial cost of it.

The old advice of "find work that you would love" will not always be applicable to everyone. Sometimes people work in order to be able to do the things they love. And I think that's okay (⁠◕⁠ᴗ⁠◕⁠✿⁠)

Currently reading about the second person visiting the bookshop. I really like gettibg to know various protagonists on a deeper level and relating to certain aspects of their lives.

I just realized that this is a book not meant to be read all at once, as each chapter is an individual story. It should be read when you need a pick me up, as each story will make you think and reflect on your own life. I will pause it for now and come back to it when I need some motivation
