I am so damn sick of Tara apologizing for jumping to conclusions & acting like a bitch. You'd think she learn from the first time or two that Mick isn't a horny fucktard. But no! She keeps jumping to conclusions & hurting this poor man because she's unhappy with herself. Point blank: you aren't sorry if you keep doing the shit over & over again.

AND another thing (I'm on a roll here, run with me please), what is this "I'm going to come" BS? Do they have to announce it EVERY time. Just come already!!!

Ok, so Mick is not "perfect" after all because if he didn't have a little skeleton in his closet, I was going to run. Though, he is still pretty damn perfect now. Never does anything wrong, down to taking the poor preggers girl to the charity event (which of course Tara misinterupts). This is the most tolerable contemporary I've read yet but please, make these men a bit more real. They aren't saints!

Well I think this is an appropriate page # for my update. Anyhow, I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I kinda like this one. I think it is the football angle or the teenager angle or the agressive first move Tara angle or just the right book at the right time angle. Oh what the hell, I like it, no real reason why.

My track record with contemporary romance is horrible but I had to read this, 1) the cover- hot 2) he was a former NFL player, come on? I live for football!

The dialogue in this book is kind of...weird. There's a lot of "That's gonna make me come." Using the fabulous search feature on Book Jesus, I found that phrase used at least TEN times in various variations. Do people really announce their orgasms? Is it something you need to yell out for it to be known? "Just in case you didn't know by my crossed eyes & grunts of death, I'm about to blow one in your ying-yang."

Everyone is so freaking perfect. *gag* Mick has absolutely no flaws-which is not a good thing. There's talk about his big "secret" but I'm thinking it's a pansy ass one. Like "Oh! I've gotta let you know this because it's killing me. Here goes...I used to beat my meat to Spongebob Squarepants. I know! I'm such a horrible person! *sob*" Yeah...you really are.

(pg 101 in print) Is it too much to ask that Mick & Tara refrain from having sex every single damn time they're alone together? I like them together but this book is starting to feel like PWP.

(pg 62 in print) The last few days have been especially chaotic & busy, so I've had around zero time to read. But what I have read of TPP, I'm enjoying for most part. Lots of sex, which could get repetitive after awhile. Mick is a sweetie.

This book is exciting!

After the wonderful emotional rollercoaster that was Demon Moon, I'm in the mood for mindless smut. Bring on the man-titties!
