Status Updates From A Dark Matter

I really don't understand why this has such a low score. It's not like this is a dumpster fire of a book.

I *think* I've figured out what happened to everyone in that meadow on that fateful day, but as yet not clear on the how. This is a very edgy book, the characters are slowly coming into sharp focus, but Straub is deliberately holding back critical pieces of his clever puzzle...

And down the rabbit hole we go...

A bit of a mess at the start (I'm still getting used to so many characters and all their nicknames and who was who), but Straub is ever so-slowly tightening the screws and really starting to ramp up the tension.

Hmmmm, not sure if I should have picked this up with a rating of less than 3 stars. So far I'm a little confused, there's been a lot of character introduction already. In particular having husband and wife, both of which are named Lee...?
Mr Straub, this is a mistaaaaake....
