This book has gotten me good...I am having a hard time putting it down to go sleep.

It's kind of slow in the beginning. But its slowly picking up.

I stayed up until 3 AM reading this last night, and it found its way into my nightmares. I know it won't have that effect on everyone, but for what it's worth I kept on having really morbid dreams.

This is one of the more atmospheric spookshows that I've read. It builds tension and terror with skill. I bought it randomly at a thrift store and am really happy to find that it's becoming one of my favorites.

I'm becoming less sure of this novel all the time. The demonic "possession" nonsense is not helping me connect with the characters or weak plot. It is still readable because the writing itself is good, but seriously... the author cannot tell a story in a way that holds my interest apparently. I may or may not read the last 100+ pages. I'll have to see if I feel like picking it up again tomorrow.

Pretty good so far. Pacing is a bit uneven, but it's fairly interesting as a whole. The writing itself is impressive, but the author isn't terribly successful at storytelling.
