I need to learn to not listen to audiobooks of quiet, contemplative books. It doesn't work as well as the text. I'm going to switch to the text book.

interesting premise, but it was getting a little slow with all of the build up and not finding out what it all means with nothing much else going on inbetween. But somewhere around page 180 it seems I finally ran into a new plot twist.

This book kind of started well, but now it seems to be loosing itself somewhere...

fairly interesting so far. It's weird to read an adult book where the main character is only about to turn 9, but she talks like she is 35.

I'm getting annoyed that the author does not have her character's conversations in quotes. They are talking, but I keep reading them as thoughts of the first person's point of view. Argh. Interesting story so far though.

Pretty Good!

This is a wonderful story that draws you in. Only thing I don't like is that lack of quotes around conversations. I find it makes me feel outside the story hearing it from someone who told someone. But, I can work around that. Good read so far.

I really wish the author would use quotation marks.

cont. mom is always on the business trip. I feel Rose's mom is very irresponsible for Rose. Although Rose is already seventeen, I think she still needs love from her mom. And this book is realistic that when I feel lost, I always talk to my friends like Rose talks to George.

So far I don't know what to make of this. I may skip ahead or just put it aside for now...just take it back to the library.
