I LOVE Magical Realism.

Just finished Part Two, and I don't know what the hell I'm reading. It's really a good book, but so many crazy things are going on.

I! not that far in but I'm really enjoying reading something I don't normally read

The writing is good but the story has been very ://// so far.

The surprising lack of quotation marks is odd and at times confusing. The narration beautifully follows the ADD like thought trains of a 9 and 12 year old.

"..like she was conducting a meeting of spinach and cheese, like a matchmaker who knew they would shortly fall in love"

Really enjoying this book. I have got over the fact that the author doesn't use speech punctuation correctly (which bothered me at first). A great idea for a story and written very delicately. I feel this is a book to read whilst eating a homemade well-loved recipe cake

The Slice of Life-ness of this would bore me to bits if it wasn't for a good narration and a good character relationship with the reader. Nicely done!

I rarely read anything with such a low rating. I hope this has some redeeming something, but so far I'm mostly lost.

I'm struggling with this one a bit. I understand the layers and the relationships but I need just a bit more to keep me hanging in there. So is her brother actually making himself disappear?
