oh my god i know this is a tragedy but some parts are so funny that i just completely forget. the little fly bit has me cackling i love it so much

Oooooookay so this one is the exception to my "the woods are hella gay in Shakespeare" rule. JFC.

[Me reading the words "snatch" and "hit it" and reflexively snickering at reading modern innuendo into it, and then realizing they're about to plan a rape and being like 😳😳😳😳😳]

Gotta say, as a former goth, all this Goth talk is giving me a very interesting image in my mind's eye of the play being performed. Tamora up there with Siouxsie hair, a black crown inlaid with rubies, black Morticia dress…bunch of others hovering around her in pleather pants and spiked collars…Bauhaus playing in the background.

Ok, maybe I need to direct a modern adaptation. Sans the upcoming cannibalism and rape.
