Nearly half way through and I am not very invested. I've started this book 3 times now, and it is not doing much to hook me. Sure, the world is interesting, but I need more.

I'm struggling to connect to this, but I don't want to give up on it. I've listened to 20% of it but little of it has stuck. I may have to restart again. This time, it either works or it doesn't.

When I first started this book, I had no idea what to expect. I was very confused at the beginning but as the pieces of the puzzle began to come together, I was stuck, promising myself just one more chapter until I only had a few left. Can’t wait to see how this story ends.

Returned it to the library 🙄 Wanted to like this! But the writing had a YA vibe I couldn't shake. Started Walking the Clouds which has an excerpt from Midnight Robber, so looking forward to that.
