I have finished two books in August already and it's only the 10th, who am I?!? Onto the third!

Someone loaned me a copy of The Testament and I have to say, People Like Her, was pushed aside for a few weeks. I am back into reading it now. Hopefully I will have it finished very soon.

Not really sure where this is going so far. I have my suspicions about Emmy and Dan and the 'stalker' POV that we get, but I guess I'll see if I'm right or not.

An illuminating piece of text on the toxicity of social media and the truths that are created and crafted for the readers belief. The dark side of the web is portrayed throughout as the characters become wrapped up in the lies that they have created for the benefit of them. It highlights the terrifying side of social media and the idea that everything we read we take as the truth.

I cannot put this down. Every chapter has me guessing what’s coming next and who should be trusted. Emmy’s paranoia seeps through the pages and rubs off on the reader which just makes you want to keep reading to finally learn what is going on and who is involved.

Everyone in this story is literally awful except for the children oh my god.

This is so creepy and uncomfortable. I love it.

I don’t know why I like thrillers about influencers so much, but apparently they’re my go-to.
