Easy to read & understand. Eerily real depiction of the perils of social media & what it means to be an ‘influencer.’ Hooked me from the beginning. I don’t trust anyone. Love the dual POV.

so far so good i am just slow at reading rn and a very busy girl!

A lot of what is called witty in this is simply more modern writing. There are some bits that make you chuckle, but I suppose that is not the aim of People Like Her. I'm definitely wrong about the stalker, back to the drawing board. Dan claims to be a modern dad, but is simply another dad who relies on the mother to keep things in order. 100 pages in, I would have liked a more scathing criticism of Emmy's hypocrisy.

I dont dislike it enough to stop reading it, but I dont like it... The characters, especially Emmy, are pretty frustrating. I think I've figured out who the stalker is already. It doesn't seem to be hidden very well? Let's hope I'm wrong.

Easy listen, I s’pose!

Slower start, naturally pretty heavy on motherhood woes at this point. The heavy British slang makes it harder to follow. Intrigued past the initial story grind to a start though, ~15% of the way through
