amazing book! Love it.

I'm reading this book again for two reasons. First, so I can teach at-risk young men how to set up profitable businesses. Second, so I can use these methods in my business empire. The core idea is to test your assumptions and adapt.

Innovation accounting

Till this point, the author is only building suspense. I haven't need any valuable point made yet. Hoping to get to the gist of it soon.

Our current problems are caused by trying too hard at the wrong things. By focusing on functional efficiency, we lose sight of the real goal of innovation: to learn that which is currently unknown.

It’s going good so far

Innovation is a bottoms-up, decentralised, and unpredictable thing, but that doesn't mean it cannot be managed. In other words, cultivating Entrepreneurship is the responsibility of senior management.

It's the boring stuff that matters the most. Startup success is not a consequence of good genes or being in the right place at the right time. Startup success can be engineered by following the right process, which means it can be learned.
